IJAHA welcomes manuscripts advancing the discipline of applied hockey analysism, particularly those involving novel metrics, retrospective certainty, Finnish roster effects, disputed clock behavior, and the management of goal-related assets.
Submissions are evaluated for originality, clarity, methodological confidence, and consistency with findings the Department has previously certified.
Peer Review
The Journal uses a confidential process conducted by reviewers selected for their ability to understand the author's intent. Reviews may be single-blind, double-blind, or, in exceptional circumstances, conducted with the manuscript unopened.
Conflict of Interest
Disclosures are required when the Editorial Board determines that a conflict is relevant. No relevant conflicts have yet been identified.
Decisions
Acceptance, revision, reconsideration, recertification, and approval are distinct editorial outcomes, except when operational needs require otherwise.
